*Morning - defined as whenever you wake up, cause life is too short to not sleep in ;)

"This bakery is, in a way, a love letter to my wife and our marriage. I started baking to remind my wife of her home through baked goods, and now I bake to bring the tastes of our home to everyone through my food." - J.B. Capers Jr, Founder and Baker of Jo Sun BakeryBorn and raised in Chicago, John developed his passion in baking while studying for Political Science and German Studies at Colorado College. John hopes to leverage baking as a way to bridge cultures and expose Chicago to new, delicious ingredients! He always jokes that each baked good has to have the "wife's approval" cause if she ain't happy with it, then no one would like it!
